Description

Founded in 2013, New Vision University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Tbilisi (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, New Vision University (NVU) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. New Vision University (NVU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 7 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 30-40% making this Georgian higher education organization a very selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Accreditation and Membership

The Law School has been a member of European Law Faculty Association (ELFA) since 2015, while the School of Medicine joined European Medical School Association (AMSE) in 2017 and is a member of Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) since 2018.

On November 3, 2018, NCEQE Accreditation Council re-accredited unconditionally NVU Medical Doctor Program for next seven years. The procedure was accomplished in accordance with the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) standards and with the involvement of international experts. On October 16, 2018, WFME has recognized the NCEQE accreditation standards to be in compliance with demands of WFME standards for 10 years. This procedure from 2023 is mandatory for all Higher Education Institutions implementing medical programs to allow their graduates for US and Canadian licensing exams.
